Here I Go...

Well, I have finally decided to branch off from my kid and make my own blog. Yeah, I will probably not post to it very often, but seeing as I don't want to corrupt my other blog that is supposedly all about my little girl, I better start another one.

Tonight I just had to get this off my chest, because it is driving me nuts. Every time I log into myspace, I see that notification about having NEW mail! Yay! No one ever mails me there other than my buddy Branden, and that is usually in a reply to something funny I have sent to him, which I haven't done lately. Anyway, so I click on the notification and my hopes were literally crushed. No new mail. How depressing. Of course it has been doing this for the past month or so, so I guess I should be expecting it. Mean ol' myspace.

Oh, and speaking of Myspace, ever since I have really started using Facebook, I am finding fewer and fewer reasons to use myspace as often. Hmm.. I wonder if this is happening to everyone else?

  1. I read somewhere today that Myspace was engineered for people to connect with those they don't know, whereas Facebook was created for people to connect with those they already know.

The world has since moved past the age where social networking is seen as a means to reach out to a world of unfamiliarity. And consumer behavior online has changed accordingly.

The dramatic shift from Myspace to Facebook will not stop. I can't even remember the last time I logged on to Myspace to actually view profiles....

Interestingly enough, Facebook's market cap is now at 3.2 billion, down from 15b illion around this time last year. Hmm... Why?
