Microsoft: The Bane of My Existence

I am drained. Spent all day working with Marilyn on a problem we were having with mandatory profiles and an Active Directory policy that would not work with the mandatory profiles once they loaded. We could get it to work for a bit, but then it would just stop. Why must Technology hate me so? I love it and all, but sometimes I just wanna throw it all out the window and just read books for a living. Or draw. Or sleep. Yeah, sleep...

Phishing??

So, I usually send links to a few of my friends on myspace whenever The Bloggess, updates her wonderfully delightful blog. Today I went to do that along with a couple of tweet links she posted on Twitter, and when I clicked on send, I was informed that my account was the victim of a phishing attack and my account was now locked until I reset my password. Uh.. ok. So I thought, maybe I needed to add a little more to the mail message so it would look less like some random spam letter and actually have some friendly communication in it along with the web links.

Nope. I was again informed I was hacked and my account was locked out until I changed my password. So, now I can't even send a web link to a friend on myspace? I would be fine with them blocking all the random sex mail messages from coming through, but come on!

Myspace is flopping around like a fish on dry land gasping its last breath.

Here I Go...

Well, I have finally decided to branch off from my kid and make my own blog. Yeah, I will probably not post to it very often, but seeing as I don't want to corrupt my other blog that is supposedly all about my little girl, I better start another one.

Tonight I just had to get this off my chest, because it is driving me nuts. Every time I log into myspace, I see that notification about having NEW mail! Yay! No one ever mails me there other than my buddy Branden, and that is usually in a reply to something funny I have sent to him, which I haven't done lately. Anyway, so I click on the notification and my hopes were literally crushed. No new mail. How depressing. Of course it has been doing this for the past month or so, so I guess I should be expecting it. Mean ol' myspace.

Oh, and speaking of Myspace, ever since I have really started using Facebook, I am finding fewer and fewer reasons to use myspace as often. Hmm.. I wonder if this is happening to everyone else?
